Apple’s iPhone Pocket is the Weirdest Expensive Accessory You Should Not Get

Apple has introduced the iPhone Pocket, a limited edition accessory created in partnership with the Issey Miyake Design Studio. The carrying pouch is designed to offer both practicality and style for iPhone users who want a simple way to keep their essentials close at hand.

The iPhone Pocket stands out with its 3D-knitted construction, which uses a ribbed mesh fabric that combines flexibility and durability. This material provides enough stretch to accommodate not only an iPhone but also AirPods and a few everyday items such as cards or keys.

The accessory is available in two strap versions. The short strap is well-suited for wearing on the wrist or attaching to a handbag, while the long strap is intended for cross-body use. The short strap comes in a selection of colors, including lemon, mandarin, purple, pink, peacock, sapphire, cinnamon, and black. The long strap is available in sapphire, cinnamon, and black.

Apple has designed the pouch to be compatible with all iPhone models from the iPhone 8 and newer, as well as every version of AirPods. The pouch’s structure allows it to be used as a sling, worn on the wrist, or attached to a bag, providing several ways for users to carry their devices.

The short strap version of the iPhone Pocket is priced at $149.95. The long strap variant is set at $229.95. Sales begin Friday, November 14, across key international cities.
