Poco F8 Ultra Rumored as Rebranded Redmi K90 Pro Max with Big Specs

The Poco F8 Ultra and Poco F8 Pro may arrive much earlier than expected, well ahead of the first anniversary of last year’s models in March. Although Poco has yet to make any official announcements, both phones have already begun appearing in global certification listings, and the F8 Pro’s box recently surfaced with “Sound by Bose” branding.

The Poco F8 Ultra has now shown up on Geekbench, revealing some of its key hardware. The listing confirms that the device runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The tested unit also carried 16GB of RAM and ran Android 16, which will almost certainly be paired with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 at launch.

While additional details for the F8 Ultra have not yet leaked, the device is widely believed to be a rebranded Redmi K90 Pro Max. If this connection proves accurate, the phone may feature a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a 1200×2608 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, along with 3,500-nit peak brightness and 2,560Hz PWM dimming.

Storage could reach up to 1TB. The rear camera system may include a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. A 32MP selfie camera is also expected.

The audio system may include stereo speakers tuned by Bose and a dedicated woofer on the back. Power could come from a 7,560 mAh battery supporting 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
