Poco has launched its new entry-level smartphone, the Poco C85, in Pakistan, offering a large display, solid battery life, and modern design features at a highly affordable price point. Closely resembling the Redmi 15C 4G released earlier this month, the Poco C85 offers similar hardware under a different brand identity and new colors.
Design and Display
The Poco C85 is equipped with a large 6.9-inch LCD featuring a 720 x 600 pixel resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The screen supports up to 810 nits peak brightness. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, and includes a 3.5mm headphone jack. It measures 171.56 x 79.47 x 7.99 mm and weighs 205 grams. Available color options include black, green, and purple.
Internals and Software
Internally, the Poco C85 runs on the MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra chipset. It comes in only a single memory variant in Pakistan, which has 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. The software is based on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 on top of Android 15.
Cameras
The device includes a 50MP main rear camera designed for standard photo capture. The other camera, which is mostly just there for show, is a QVGA sensor. On the front, it offers an 8MP selfie camera. Video recording goes up to 1080p 30 fps on both the front and back cameras.
Battery and Pricing
A key highlight of this phone is the sizable 6,000 mAh battery, which supports 33W fast wired charging. In Pakistan, the POCO C85 can be found for as low as Rs 37,799 for the 8GB + 256GB variant.
