The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has issued a public alert about a fake online campaign falsely offering a 50% discount on traffic fines and other RTA services.
The fraudulent offer, circulating through emails and social media, claims users can get “half off RTA services” by paying online. The RTA confirmed the page is not linked to the authority.
A Dubai resident reported the suspicious offer on the RTA’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, sharing an image of the fake promotion. The RTA responded, confirming the campaign is fraudulent and warning that such posts are designed to deceive digital service users.
