Dubai Police have deployed artificial intelligence-powered noise radars across the city to monitor and penalise vehicles creating excessive noise.
According to officials, the new system will detect loud horns, modified exhaust systems, and high-volume music from vehicles. Any driver exceeding permitted noise limits will face a fine of AED 2,000, roughly Rs. 150,000, along with 12 black points on their license.
Under UAE traffic laws, accumulating 24 black points can result in licence suspension.
Authorities urged motorists to drive responsibly and avoid disturbing public peace, warning that strict action will be taken against violators.
