The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Faisalabad has announced the results of the Matric Supplementary Examination, showing another weak performance from students.
According to the board, 20,977 candidates appeared in the supplementary exam, but 57 percent failed again, bringing the overall pass rate to just 42.82 percent. Only 8,982 students passed, triggering concern among education stakeholders in the region.
Earlier this year, 173,239 students took the annual Matric exam in Faisalabad, and 137,948 passed, leaving thousands to appear in the supplementary attempt.
Students can check their results by visiting the official BISE Faisalabad website, where the complete result and official gazette have been uploaded. Candidates can search using their roll number to view individual marks.
