The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Gujranwala has announced the results of the Matric Second Annual Examination 2025.
A supplementary exam allows students who fail one or more subjects in the annual exam to clear them within the same academic year instead of waiting until the next session.
According to the board, 37,310 students applied, while 36,521 appeared in the exam. Out of these, 16,152 students passed, bringing the overall pass rate to 44.23 percent. The results have triggered concern among education observers due to the low performance levels across the region.
Students can check their results by entering their roll number on the official BISE Gujranwala website. The board has also uploaded the official result gazette online for schools and students to download.
