The Punjab government has extended the deadline for submitting application forms for the School Teachers Interns (STI) Programme, media outlets reported on Thursday.
According to the official announcement, candidates can now submit their applications until November 24. The merit list will be displayed outside schools on November 26 at 10:00 p.m., while interviews of the shortlisted candidates will be held on November 29.
Appointment orders for selected interns will be issued on December 1, 2025.
Officials revealed that the programme has already received over 220,000 applications, reflecting strong interest from aspiring teachers across the province.
