Lahore authorities have decided to launch a strict crackdown on motorists using fake or unauthorized number plates. Officials said that police stations will register criminal cases against anyone driving with forged plates.
Lahore Safe City officials confirmed that monitoring has already begun. Teams are checking vehicles across the city and comparing their registration details with Excise Department records.
They noted that fake number plates are frequently used to conceal identities during criminal activities.
They warned that many violators have already been identified and urged citizens to use only number plates issued by the Excise Department. Authorities made it clear that no violator will receive leniency during the crackdown.

I have a question about how someone using a fake license plate on a car with the same make, model, and color can be identified. How this can be recognized through surveillance cameras. You can’t know unless you check the engine and chassis numbers. It would be better to require the use of license plates issued by the excise department. Replica or customized license plates should not be permitted.
What about fake government and fake elections and fake inflation?
