Dubai to Host Eight-Day New Year’s Eve Celebration

Dubai is set to ring in 2026 with an eight-day New Year’s Eve celebration, as Emaar transforms Downtown Dubai into a spectacular open-air stage from December 31 to January 7. The festivities promise a blend of art, technology, and entertainment, extending far beyond the traditional midnight countdown.

Burj Park will be the focal point of the celebration, featuring a Bollywood-themed experience curated in collaboration with Frontstage, part of Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. Tickets are priced at Dh950 for adults and Dh550 for children aged 5 to 12, with free entry for children under five.

The event will also feature a grand parade across Downtown Dubai, complete with illuminated puppets, massive floats, and live performances highlighting Dubai’s creativity and cultural diversity. Nightly shows will illuminate the Burj Khalifa and the surrounding skyline with drone displays, cinematic choreography, and live broadcasts reaching millions globally.

Emaar Founder Mohamed Alabbar described the celebration as “a celebration on an unprecedented scale,” promising an immersive experience for both residents and international audiences.

Tickets are available online in advance at mydubainewyear.emaar.com
