Honor Earbuds S Debut With 49dB ANC and 42.5-Hour Battery Life

Honor has introduced the new Honor Earbuds S during its Honor 500 series event. The earbuds will be available in blue, pink, and white at a starting price of only $42.

Design and Features

The Honor Earbuds S are built with a focus on noise isolation and everyday convenience. Each earbud weighs about 5.3 grams and features a curved ergonomic design intended for comfortable long-term wear. The earbuds also carry an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance, making them suitable for workouts, light rain, and outdoor use.

Audio and Noise Cancellation

Honor equips the earbuds with hybrid active noise cancellation rated at up to 49dB. Actual performance may vary depending on ear tip fit, ear canal shape, and wearing position. The dual-mic AI noise reduction system helps minimize background noise during calls for clearer voice communication.

Each earbud houses a 12.4mm dynamic driver designed to deliver stronger bass and maintain clarity across different frequencies. The earbuds support spatial audio with dedicated presets for music, movies, and gaming. Honor’s custom bass algorithm enhances low-end performance without compromising detail.

Battery Performance

The Earbuds S provide up to 9.5 hours of playback on a single charge with ANC turned off. When paired with the charging case, total battery life reaches 42.5 hours. A quick 10-minute charge delivers up to three hours of use, offering additional convenience for on-the-go listening.

Connectivity and Controls

The earbuds support fast pairing with compatible Honor smartphones. Opening the charging case triggers an instant pop-up animation showing battery information and connection status. Pairing data is backed up through the cloud, allowing users to switch to a new Honor phone without repeating the setup process.

The Honor AI Space app includes a “find my earbuds” feature with an audible ring alert. Touch controls are available for playback, call management, and noise cancellation adjustments. The Earbuds S also integrate with other Honor ecosystem devices for smoother multi-device coordination.
