Honor Watch X5 Debuts for Just $70 – Here’s What You Get

Honor unveiled the Watch X5 in China alongside the Honor 500 series. The smartwatch features a 1.97-inch AMOLED display with a 390 x 450 pixel resolution, 2.5D curved glass, and a 60Hz refresh rate. It weighs 29g without the strap and carries IP68 and 5ATM water resistance ratings.

The watch case is made from aluminium alloy, while the back is made from plastic. It includes a single button with a rotating crown for navigation. It comes with a Black or White silicone strap.

The Watch X5 comes with a heart rate sensor (PPG) for activity tracking. It supports 120 sport modes, sleep tracking, and women’s health tracking, and includes built-in GPS for precise location data.

The smartwatch offers Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC. It charges through a magnetic port and supports Always-On Display mode, Bluetooth calling, a remote camera shutter, and a Do Not Disturb mode. A microphone and speaker are also included.

Honor claims the Watch X5 can run for up to 14 days under typical usage and up to 5 days when AOD is enabled. The device works with Android 9.0 or higher and iOS 13 or later.

The Honor Watch X5 is priced at $70 in China.
