PMDC to Launch Nationwide Digital Inspector Training Program

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has completed preparations for a nationwide Digital Inspector Training Program aimed at modernizing the supervision of medical and dental colleges.

Officials say the move will bring major improvements to inspection quality and transparency across the country.

A key meeting was held at the PMDC headquarters in Islamabad, where arrangements and technical requirements for the national training scheduled from December 9 to 11, 2025, were finalized.

The session was chaired by the PM&DC President and attended by 12 master trainers from different regions.

Participants reviewed the training modules, digital inspection process, equipment handling, materials, and assessment tools.

The leadership stressed that the goal is to prepare inspectors for a fully digital, uniform, and transparent inspection system aligned with global best practices.

The meeting approved documented protocols, an inspector’s guide, a unified digital platform, and standardized reporting procedures.

According to the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council, the new digital inspection system will minimise human error and strengthen quality assurance and institutional performance evaluation nationwide.

The council stated that upgrading the national inspection framework remains a top priority and expressed confidence that the upcoming training will mark a major step forward in improving regulatory oversight in medical and dental education.
