The School Teacher Intern (STI) recruitment process in Punjab has been given a new timeline, as the School Education Department released an updated schedule on Tuesday.
According to reports, the STI recruitment merit lists, hearings, interviews, and final selections will now follow revised dates shared across all districts.
The revised STI schedule aims to improve transparency and make it easier for applicants to track each stage of the recruitment process.
As per the new plan, schools will display the initial merit list on December 3, allowing candidates to review their standing.
Candidates who wish to dispute their placement can submit objections on December 4 and 5 at the tehsil level, where complaints will be reviewed on the spot.
Shortlisted candidates will appear for interviews on December 6 and 7, allowing the authorities to evaluate their qualifications, teaching skills, and overall suitability for school positions across the province.
The department confirmed that the final merit list will be issued on December 8, both on school notice boards and through the official STI online portal.
Those who qualify will be able to download their appointment orders from the online portal on December 9.
The School Education Department has instructed school heads, applicants, and supporting staff to follow the timeline carefully to ensure a smooth and transparent process.
