Child Seen Driving Passenger Coach in Karachi

Despite repeated fatal accidents in Karachi, transporters appear to have learned no lessons.

Fresh images from DHA Phase 8 show a child, believed to be around 10 to 11 years old, driving a passenger coach, triggering public anger over dangerous and illegal practices on city roads.

The photos, captured by a citizen near 16th Street, Creek Vista, clearly show the underage boy behind the wheel of a coach bearing registration number PE-0147.

Karachi has already witnessed 32 deaths this year caused by bus collisions alone.

Residents say the latest incident highlights not just negligence by transporters, but also a complete failure of police enforcement.

The images circulating online suggest that neither the bus owner nor the child driver fears district police action or e-challan penalties.

Citizens have demanded strict legal action against the bus owner, along with a heavy e-challan, to prevent such life-threatening violations.
