Customs Seizes Rs.138 Million in Smuggled Goods Near Quetta

The Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Quetta has recovered smuggled goods worth Rs. 138 million during a raid on a warehouse outside the city.

Officials said the seized items included assorted cloth, tyres, cigarettes, sheesha flavour, cashew nuts and even bundles of processed human hair.

Following the raid, Customs teams took all confiscated goods into custody, and legal proceedings under the Customs Act of 1969 are now underway.

Authorities said the action forms part of ongoing enforcement operations targeting smuggling networks operating around Balochistan.

The FBR spokesperson reaffirmed the department’s commitment to continuing strict measures against smuggling and illicit trade across the country.
