Gold prices in Pakistan continued their downward trend on Wednesday, in line with the losses in the international market.
In the local market, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs. 1,200 to settle at Rs. 440,662, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold fell by Rs. 1,029, with the new rate standing at Rs. 377,796.
On Tuesday, gold prices had also declined, with the per tola rate falling by Rs. 1,900 to reach Rs. 441,862.
Internationally, gold prices slipped by $12 to reach $4,207 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, the price of silver in the local market increased by Rs. 265 to reach Rs. 6,367 per tola.
