The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched a mobile registration drive for overseas Pakistanis living in the UK.
NADRA described the initiative as “closer, faster, and easier,” calling it a first-of-its-kind operation in the United Kingdom.
Under this initiative, NADRA’s mobile registration drive will be conducted in three locations: Brent (London), Glasgow, and Nottingham.
The mobile registration service will be held on December 13, 2025. To facilitate the public, NADRA has shared area maps through its official social media platforms for residents in Glasgow and Nottingham.
NADRA clarified that the service locations include Brent (London), Glasgow, and Nottingham. The original reference to “Manchester” alongside Glasgow was incorrect and has been clarified as a location detail.
NADRA further stated, “We look forward to serving you at your convenience.”
For more information and updates, people can visit NADRA’s official website or join their WhatsApp channel. Complaints can be submitted at NADRA’s complaints portal.
Earlier, NADRA announced that citizens can now apply for their first Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) through the PakID mobile application, making the initial stage of the process more convenient.
Every Pakistani aged 18 years or above is eligible to apply for a CNIC, which is required for essential services such as banking, passport issuance, and voting.
As part of a major facilitation measure, the Government of Pakistan has announced that citizens will receive their first CNIC without a chip free of cost within 15 days.
