The Sindh government has taken strict notice of violations of official working hours in government departments, particularly delays in officers’ arrival at offices.
According to official instructions, many officers are not reaching their offices on time at 9:00 a.m., which is adversely affecting departmental performance and public service delivery.
Senior authorities have directed all officers to strictly ensure punctuality.

The government has emphasized that a lack of time discipline in public offices negatively impacts the provision of services to citizens. Officers have been instructed to ensure their presence in offices at 9:00 a.m. without exception.
To improve public service delivery, the Sindh Services, General Administration and Coordination Department (SGA&CD) has issued formal directives to all departments, clearly stating that office attendance at 9:00 a.m. must be ensured under all circumstances.
