Gold Prices Rise Again in Pakistan as Silver Continues Record-Breaking Run

Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Thursday in line with gains in the international market, while silver climbed to a fresh all-time high, extending its recent rally.

In the local market, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs. 2,200 during the day to settle at Rs. 455,762. The rate for 10-gram gold also went up, rising by Rs. 1,800 to Rs. 390,742, according to figures shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

A day earlier, on Wednesday, the price of gold per tola had closed at Rs. 453,562 after a gain of Rs. 2,700 during the session.

In the international market, the price of gold was up by $22, reaching $4,334 per ounce (including a premium of $20).

Meanwhile, silver continued its record-breaking run, with the price per tola jumping by Rs. 78 to hit Rs. 6,900, a new high in the local market.
