An AirSial flight scheduled to depart from Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore to Jeddah has reportedly failed to take off even after three days, leaving passengers stranded at the airport.
According to passengers, AirSial issued boarding cards for the Lahore–Jeddah flight, and travelers have been waiting for the aircraft after completing boarding formalities.
They said airline staff kept assuring them that the flight would depart “today or tomorrow,” but the delay has continued for three consecutive days.
Most of the passengers are reportedly Umrah pilgrims. Some travelers said the airline initially cited a technical fault in the aircraft and informed them that engineers were working to fix the issue.
Later, they were told that the aircraft had not arrived from Jeddah. Several Umrah pilgrims reportedly removed their ihram due to the prolonged delay.
