KP Announces 2800 Jobs in Govt Schools

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced new job opportunities for low-educated unemployed individuals across the province.

According to officials, the government has approved the recruitment of 2,800 chowkidars (watchmen) for schools in 28 districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The provincial Finance Department confirmed that formal approval has been granted to fill vacant posts in schools. It said all appointments will be made through public advertisements, open competition and a strict merit-based process.

Mansehra district has been allocated the highest number of positions, with 377 vacancies approved. For Bannu, 263 posts have been sanctioned, while Mardan has been given 256 positions.

In Peshawar, 162 chowkidar posts will be filled. Laki Marwat has been allocated 160 vacancies, and Abbottabad will receive 154 positions under the new recruitment plan.
