Redmi Turbo 5 Series Could Launch With New Dimensity Chips

Redmi has been the subject of several recent leaks, and a new report has revealed the chipsets expected to power the upcoming Redmi Turbo 5 lineup.

According to a tipster on Weibo, the standard Redmi Turbo 5 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset, while the Turbo 5 Pro is expected to use the Dimensity 9500e processor. Both chipsets have yet to be officially announced.

Launch timing for the Redmi Turbo 5 series remains unclear. One recent rumor suggests the phones could launch alongside the Xiaomi 17 Ultra on December 25, while another leak claims the debut may take place in January 2026.

Expected Specifications

Earlier reports indicate that the Redmi Turbo 5 may feature a 6.6-inch display with 1.5K resolution, a metal frame, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and a 7,500mAh battery.

The Turbo 5 Pro, meanwhile, is tipped to include a larger 9,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging. It is also expected to feature a metal frame, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and an LTPS OLED display with 1.5K resolution.

Redmi has not confirmed any details related to the Turbo 5 series, and all specifications remain based on leaks.
