Motorola’s Next Flagship May Bring Stylus Support Back

Motorola is preparing to unveil its next flagship smartphone, called the Signature. The company has been teasing an announcement scheduled for January 6, which is expected to mark the phone’s official debut.

Leaked renders of the device surfaced last month. Motorola has now shared a new promotional image that adds another detail, showing a stylus positioned in front of the phone.

Stylus Support Confirmed by Promo Image

The presence of the stylus strongly suggests that the Motorola Signature will support stylus input. This aligns with an earlier rumor from December that claimed the upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Ultra would include stylus support. The Signature is understood to be the same device under a new name, and the latest image reinforces that report.

Expected Specifications

The Motorola Signature is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor from Qualcomm, paired with up to 16GB of RAM. It is also tipped to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution.

The phone is expected to launch running Android 16 out of the box.

Motorola has not yet confirmed the full specifications or pricing ahead of the January 6 announcement.
