OnePlus may be preparing to launch the Nord 6 sooner than expected, despite the Nord 5 having been released only in July.
The upcoming Nord 6 has already received certifications from multiple regulatory bodies, including SIRIM in Malaysia, the Global Certification Forum (GCF), and the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) in the UAE. Such approvals are a routine part of the development process, but typically appear only weeks or a few months before a device is officially unveiled.
The early certifications suggest the OnePlus Nord 6 could arrive earlier in the year than the Nord 5. However, no specifications for the device have surfaced so far.
The TDRA listing confirms that the Nord 6 carries the model number CPH2795.
The timing is notable, as OnePlus is set to introduce a new smartphone lineup in China called Turbo, beginning with the Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V. It remains unclear how this new series fits into OnePlus’s broader product roadmap.
There is no confirmation that the Nord 6 is related to the Turbo lineup, and no details have emerged to indicate whether the two product lines share hardware or design elements.
For now, the certifications are the clearest indication that the OnePlus Nord 6 is progressing toward launch, even as further details remain undisclosed.
