The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has launched a laptop scheme for blind and visually impaired students enrolled in recognized educational institutions across the province.
According to official details, blind and visually impaired students studying in recognized colleges, universities, or madrasas can apply for the scheme. Applicants must be permanent residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and must hold a valid disability certificate issued by the Social Welfare Department.
The government will receive applications through an online MIS form. Authorities will distribute laptops strictly on merit and subject to the availability of funds. Officials stated that they will prioritize students who demonstrate strong academic performance and relevant skills.
The Social Welfare Department has directed eligible students to submit their applications through its official website, swkpk.gov.pk.
