The Punjab government has launched a new phase of the Mein Digital program to expand digital employment opportunities for educated women living in rural areas of the province.
The initiative is being implemented by the Punjab Skills Development Fund in collaboration with government partners under the leadership of Maryam Nawaz.
Officials said the program aims to help women gain digital skills and earn income from home. The focus remains on reducing barriers to employment and improving economic mobility for women in rural Punjab.
Benefits
Under the Mein Digital initiative, selected participants will receive structured digital skills training for 6 months. The program also offers a monthly stipend of PKR 5,000 to support learners during the training period.
A total of 2,000 seats are available in the current intake. Authorities said applications are open for a limited time due to high demand.
The application deadline is January 25.
Eligibility criteria
According to the program guidelines, applicants must have at least 16 years of education. Only residents of rural Punjab are eligible to apply.
Applicants must also pass an entry test to qualify for enrollment. The age limit for candidates ranges from 21 to 40 years.
Application process
Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the official PSDF website. Authorities advised applicants to complete the process before the deadline, as seats are limited.
