The Punjab Higher Education Department has extended the winter holidays for all public and private universities and colleges across the province, with institutions now set to remain closed until January 16, 24News reported.
According to an official notification, higher education institutions have been directed to resume academic activities from January 19.
The notification clarified that all examinations will continue as per the previously announced schedule, with no changes to the exam calendar.
The extension applies to both government-run and privately managed universities and colleges throughout Punjab, the Higher Education Department Punjab said.
