KP Govt Allocates Rs. 30 Million for Karak Sports Complex

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has allocated Rs. 30 million under the Annual Development Programme (ADP) for the establishment of a sports complex in Karak district.

The allocation was disclosed by District Sports Officer Tanveer during a briefing to Deputy Commissioner Asad Sarwar at a visit to the proposed project site on Tuesday.

During the inspection, the deputy commissioner reviewed the proposed site and directed the concerned authorities to ensure that an access road from the Indus Highway is included in the project plan.

The district sports officer informed the deputy commissioner that the total estimated cost of the sports complex was Rs. 657.169 million.

He further stated that the land acquisition cost exceeded Rs. 186.879 million, adding that the amount would be transferred to the land acquisition collector, Karak, soon.

The briefing also included detailed discussions on the availability of land, legal requirements, and the future course of action for the project.

Speaking on the occasion, the deputy commissioner said that the establishment of the sports complex would provide better sports facilities and opportunities for the youth of the district.
