PNSC Adds New Tanker to its Fleet

The Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PSX: PNSC) has inducted an Aframax tanker into its managed fleet, according to a stock filing submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

The vessel, named MT Karachi, has a deadweight tonnage (DWT) of 109,990 tons and has been inducted through PNSC’s subsidiary, Karachi Shipping (Private) Limited.

The development was disclosed in compliance with Section 96 of the Securities Act, 2015 and Clause 5.6.1(a) of the PSX Rule Book, following an earlier disclosure made on October 13, 2025.

The induction expands PNSC’s tanker fleet and strengthens its capacity in the oil transportation segment.

PNSC is principally engaged in the business of shipping, including charter of vessels, transportation of cargo and other related services and providing commercial, technical, administrative, financial and other services to its subsidiaries and third parties in relation to the business of shipping.

The Corporation is also engaged in renting out its properties to tenants under lease arrangements.
