Pakistan vs Australia T20I Series Timings Changed

The start time for the upcoming Pakistan vs Australia T20I series in Lahore has been moved forward, with matches now set to begin at 4:00 PM instead of 6:00 PM due to extreme weather conditions.

According to the updated schedule, the toss will take place at 3:30 PM, followed by the first ball at 4:00 PM. Earlier, the plan was for the toss at 5:30 PM and the match start at 6:00 PM. The shift is aimed at avoiding disruption linked to foggy conditions that have affected the city.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has confirmed the fixtures for Australia’s T20I tour of Pakistan, with the three-match series to be played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on 29 January, 31 January, and 1 February. Australia’s T20I squad is scheduled to arrive in Lahore on Wednesday, 28 January.

The series is expected to provide key match practice for both sides ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, with Pakistan placed in Group A and Australia in Group B.

This will be Australia’s third visit to Pakistan since 2022, following tours that included Tests, ODIs and a T20I, as well as matches played in the country during the Champions Trophy 2025.

Meanwhile, tickets for the series are currently available online, and physical tickets will be sold from Monday, 19 January, at designated outlets from 10:00 AM onwards.
