Islamabad Club’s membership structure has come under the spotlight after details about its fee categories were presented in the Senate, outlining different rates for various groups, including general citizens and certain official segments.
According to reports, Islamabad Club has set Rs. 7 million as the membership fee for general citizens. The same information shared in the upper house states that the club has also fixed a concessional membership fee for certain categories, including members of parliament, at Rs 6 lac.
However, sources within the Islamabad Club state that although new applicants are expected to pay Rs. 7 million, fresh memberships are currently not open. The sources also claim that the membership fee for government officers and their children is around Rs. 3 million, suggesting the amounts can vary by category even though a public-facing intake has not started.
Islamabad Club’s membership and fees have remained a topic of public interest in recent months, particularly after reports that the private membership fee was revised to Rs. 7 million, drawing attention to how costly lifetime club access has become in the capital.

7 million Rupees pay to Islamabad club member ship its one time fee
Membership for Parliamentarians and Public Servants, should reflect against their tax returns. If the incumbent member, has strong wealth assets, the membership should be Rs.10.0 Million, time based. As long as the person is based in Islamabad, the membership carries. Once whether out of Parliament or posted away, the membership should be declared null and void. Family transfer should be allowed for Membership Numbers 0 to 1500 for those alive. For either wife, son or daughter
Hi
Please spare a decent place for the educated people of Islamabad I think it should raise its fee up to 1 core and close all the new member ships , don’t make it another centaurs mall open for general public, let it be exclusive for the civil servants or educated class , otherwise it will loose its glory, clubs are not meant for general public they are many other places for general public, Army mess is only for army officers not for general public.
Why are you even criticising the high fees structure of the club, it should be exclusive or else everyone can get access to it and will turn it into something horrible
