Vivo’s iQOO Z11 Turbo Has Near Flagship Specs for Below $400

Vivo’s iQOO series is known for providing high-value-for-money products, and the new Z11 Turbo is no different. The latest entry brings a ginormous battery, flagship-grade chipset, and a high-end camera setup while keeping the price tag below $400 somehow.

While the iQOO series does not reach Pakistan, we can expect it to come under the main Vivo branding with a new name in the global market.

Design and Display

The 6.59-inch screen can reach impressive brightness levels of 5000 nits, which should be ideal for outdoor use. This is a 1.5K resolution AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate that also supports 4,320Hz PWM dimming for flicker-free use. Additionally, you get DC dimming, HDR10+ support, and Schott Shield glass protection.

However, the standout feature here is the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which is usually found in flagship phones only these days. These fingerprint sensors are known to work faster and more consistently than optical sensors. There is also IP69 dust and waterproofing.

Internals and Software

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 may not be a top-of-the-line performer like the 8 Elite Gen 5, but it still brings nearly 90% of the raw power and battery savings. This can be paired with up to a whopping 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of  UFS 4.1 internal storage, though there are lower-end memory variants as well.

You get Vivo’s Origin OS 6 on top of Android 16 on this phone, which has typically been preferred more than Funtouch OS by Vivo users.

Cameras

There are only two cameras on the back, but since the 200MP primary shooter can provide 4x lossless zoom, there should be no need for a dedicated telephoto zoom lens. The main shooter has an f/1.8 aperture with OIS to prevent shaky photos and videos. There is a single 8MP ultrawide camera beside the main 200MP unit.

On the front, there is a 32MP selfie shooter.

Battery and Pricing

The battery size and charging may just be some of the best features this phone offers, with an impressive 7,500 mAh cell and 100W fast charging that should fill up an empty tank in a little more than 30 to 40 minutes.

The starting price for the iQOO Z11 Turbo is $390 for the 12 GB/256 GB model, while the highest-end memory variant with 16 GB/1 TB costs $570 in China.
