The meeting reviewed ongoing and upcoming Sahulat Bazaar projects. Chairman Khokhar said the bazaars aim to provide relief to the public by offering essential commodities at prices lower than the open market.

He also highlighted the “Sahulat Drive-Through” initiative, allowing citizens to shop without leaving their vehicles, and the “Sahulat On The Go” program, which will organize informal pushcart businesses while providing quality goods in a single location.

MNA Tahira Aurangzeb urged district administrations to arrange land quickly for areas where it is not yet available. She noted that 16 locations are in progress for land provision.

Officials also confirmed that Sahulat Bazaars will include children’s play areas, food courts, and washrooms to ensure a comfortable shopping experience. The district administration pledged to expedite all projects and provide maximum facilities under Punjab government’s public-friendly initiatives.
