A 5-year-old boy tragically died after falling into a sewage-filled pit in Iqbal Town, Rawalpindi. The incident occurred near private housing apartments in the Sadiqabad area.
According to rescue officials, the child was flying a kite when he accidentally fell into the pit. The pit had filled with water due to ongoing construction excavation, which blocked a nearby drain.
Following the accident, Sadiqabad police arrived at the scene and have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the child’s death.
