To strengthen monitoring, the government is establishing provincial and district-level control rooms for real-time supervision and quick resolution of public complaints.

Under the plan, 5,887 kilometers of sewerage lines and 181 drainage lines will be constructed, while over 33,000 manhole covers will be installed.

Production of HDPE sewerage pipes is also underway.

Deputy commissioners briefed the chief minister on city-specific projects. Major initiatives include sewerage expansion and road development in Multan, the largest-ever development package for Gujranwala, over Rs12 billion worth of sewerage and drainage works in Dera Ghazi Khan, and sanitation, parks, and solar-powered disposal stations in Bhakkar.

Projects are also underway in Vehari, Sheikhupura, and Kasur.

CM Maryam directed immediate improvements in cleanliness and sanitation in Sheikhupura and Pattoki, praised the revamping of Kasur DHQ Hospital, and stressed that development must reach every street and neighborhood.

Meanwhile, under her leadership, the provincial administration restored normal life in Murree after nearly 30 hours of heavy snowfall.
