Oppo Find X9s Could be the World’s First Dual 200MP Camera Phone

A December report suggested that Oppo was considering using two 200MP cameras in its upcoming Find X9s. A new update now confirms that the company is moving forward with that plan.

The information comes from a well-known tipster, Digital Chat Station, who says the Find X9s will feature a 200MP main camera paired with a 200MP periscope telephoto camera.

Display, design, and chipset details

According to the leak, the Find X9s will feature a 6.3-inch flat display with a 1.5K resolution. Oppo is reportedly using LIPO packaging to achieve ultra-narrow bezels on all four sides, a design approach already seen on several recent Android flagships.

The device is said to be powered by MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9500+ chipset from MediaTek.

Camera hardware and imaging features

On the camera side, the main sensor is tipped to be a 200MP HP5 unit with a 1/1.56-inch sensor size. The periscope telephoto camera is also expected to use a 200MP HP5 sensor, offering 3x optical zoom.

This setup would make the Find X9s stand out, as even the larger Find X9 Pro is not expected to feature two 200MP cameras. The rear camera system is said to be completed by a 50MP ultra-wide camera.

Oppo is also expected to include its Danxia color reproduction system, along with a multispectral sensor designed to improve color accuracy and skin tone rendering.

Battery and other expected features

Despite its relatively compact 6.3-inch form factor, the Find X9s could include a battery rated at around 7,000mAh. Wireless charging is also mentioned in the leak.

Additional expected features include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, full water resistance, and other standard flagship specifications.

Launch timeline

There is no confirmation yet on the launch timeline for the Find X9s. The device may debut alongside the Find X9 Ultra, which is expected to launch in March 2026.
