Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has officially announced the creation of a new administrative division, Koh-e-Suleman, in Barkhan district, saying the move will help address public issues more efficiently and improve governance in remote areas.
Addressing a public gathering in Rakhni, CM Bugti said the provincial government is committed to ensuring balanced development across Balochistan and bringing long-neglected regions into the mainstream.
He stated that the new division would improve access to public services and infrastructure for residents of Barkhan and surrounding districts.
The chief minister emphasized that uniform development remains a key priority of his government, adding that focused administrative reforms are essential for resolving local problems and improving service delivery.
Reaffirming the government’s stance on security, Bugti said there was no space for terrorism in Balochistan.
He warned that those involved in disrupting peace, including facilitators of militant groups, would be dealt with strictly under the law.
CM Bugti also stressed that the Baloch people and Pakistan are inseparable, stating that efforts were underway to counter propaganda aimed at misleading youth and distancing them from the state.
