Court Orders Private Schools to Provide Free Education to 10% Students

On the orders of the Sindh High Court, private schools have been made legally bound to provide free education to 10 percent of their students.

The Sindh government and the Directorate of Private Institutions have issued directives to ensure strict implementation of the order.

Private schools have also been instructed to submit documentary proof confirming that free education is being provided.

Authorities have warned that strict action will be taken against schools that fail to comply with zero-fee admissions under the Sindh Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2013.

Officials further stated that in case of violations, the concerned officers will be held personally responsible for non-compliance.
