A Himalayan ibex was hunted in Upper Chitral under the supervision of wildlife authorities, officials confirmed.
According to the Wildlife Department, local hunter Jamil Ahmad carried out the hunt in compliance with regulations. Officials said the ibex had horns measuring approximately 40 inches.
Authorities added that the animal was hunted from a distance of about 160 meters under official monitoring, in line with controlled trophy hunting procedures in the region.
