Dubai’s Global Village Ramadan Timings Announced

Dubai’s Global Village has announced its operating hours and Ramadan program for the holy month, as the destination continues its 30th season.

During Ramadan, the destination will be open from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. from Sunday to Wednesday, and from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. from Thursday to Saturday.

To mark the occasion, Global Village will feature special Ramadan decorations, including traditional themed elements, glowing lanterns and crescents, warm ambient lighting, and dedicated photo installations across the park.

This season, Global Village is introducing Multaqa, a free-to-access, tent-style seating area inspired by traditional majlis gatherings. Designed to encourage social interaction, the space features festoon lighting, comfortable seating, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Located in front of the Main Stage, Multaqa allows guests to bring food from Global Village’s many kiosks and rent traditional games from the on-site team, creating a relaxed and interactive Ramadan experience for visitors of all ages.

Throughout the holy month, Global Village will also present a curated lineup of Ramadan-themed entertainment on the Main Stage. The program includes live performances featuring orchestra, oud, nay, harp, violin, and the traditional Tannoura show, selected to reflect the cultural and spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan.

The Akher Kalam show, hosted by Maitha Mohammed, will run from February 18 to March 18 at 11 p.m. on the Main Stage.

Meanwhile, the Al Mandoos Live Game Show, hosted by Abdulla Esmaeel, will take place at 9:30 p.m. on the Main Stage across three consecutive weekends, starting from the first weekend of Ramadan on Friday, February 20. The show offers an interactive experience aimed at families.

As part of the Ramadan celebrations, Global Village will also host a drone show on Friday, February 20, at 9:30 p.m., featuring a night sky display.

Visitors can enjoy a wide culinary selection during Ramadan, with more than 250 dining options available across the Restaurant Plaza, kiosks, streets, pavilion stalls, and cafes. The offerings cater to guests breaking their fast, enjoying suhoor, or looking for light bites throughout the evening.

With 30 cultural pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, Global Village also provides a Ramadan shopping destination. Guests can shop for décor, clothing, gifts, household items, traditional sweets, and food essentials, making it a convenient stop for Eid preparations.

Promoting wellness during the holy month, the Ramadan Step Challenge is returning this season. Available exclusively through the Global Village mobile app, the challenge encourages guests to track their steps while exploring the park. Visitors who complete 10,000 steps in a single visit will be eligible for rewards.
