Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab has announced that entry fees for special needs children at the city’s zoo have been abolished.
According to the mayor, immediate instructions have been issued to zoo authorities to implement the decision without delay.
Mayor Wahab stated that special needs children are a valuable part of society and emphasized that the community has a shared responsibility to support them.
He said the Sindh government is already running programs focused on employment, skill development, and awareness for special needs children.
He further added that providing modern education, assistive tools, and suitable curricula for special needs children remains a top priority for the government.
