Work on another underpass in Islamabad has officially started along Park Road at Margalla Enclave, prompting Islamabad Police to issue a traffic advisory for commuters.
According to the advisory, traffic traveling from Rawal Dam Chowk towards Taramri will be diverted via NIH Road, passing through Mohra Noor before rejoining Park Road.
Vehicles moving from Taramri towards Rawal Dam Chowk will be routed through Chai Khanna, the CDA Nursery area, and two temporary roads running alongside the iron grill to reconnect with Park Road.
Commuters have also been advised to use alternative routes, including Lehtrar Road via Khanna Pul and the Expressway, to reach different parts of the city.
Islamabad Police warned that traffic congestion is expected on Park Road while development work remains underway and advised citizens to plan their travel with an additional 20 to 30 minutes.
For further updates or assistance, commuters can contact the Islamabad Traffic Police helpline at 1915. Traffic police personnel will remain deployed in the area to facilitate motorists during the construction period.
