Data Darbar has started accepting applications from people who wish to observe Itikaf during the last ten days of Ramadan.
The administration will receive applications until 29th of Shaban. Applicants must submit a copy of their national identity card, a medical certificate, and verification from their relevant police station along with the application.
Authorities have also made it mandatory to attach passport-size photographs. After submission, officials will send all applications to the Special Branch for security scrutiny. Only applicants who receive clearance from the Special Branch will be allowed to sit in Itikaf at Data Darbar.
The Punjab Auqaf Department will establish a special counter inside the Data Darbar premises to receive applications. The administration will collect all applications exclusively through this counter.
Officials have urged applicants to submit complete documents to ensure smooth processing and avoid rejection.
