Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced plans to establish medical, law, and agriculture colleges in Mianwali to expand higher education access and promote regional development, according to 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a public gathering, she also confirmed that the Apna Khet, Apna Rozgar programme will launch next week, under which poor farmers will receive three to five acres of land along with Kisan Cards to support farming activities.
The chief minister said the government has already distributed over 21,000 tractors among farmers over the past two years to strengthen agriculture.
She added that development projects continue across Punjab without discrimination, while a Ramadan relief package will provide Rs10,000 each to nearly four million citizens.
Maryam Nawaz reaffirmed the government’s focus on practical development and pledged continued service and progress for the province.
