Passport Office Timings Announced for Ramadan

Authorities have released revised working hours for passport offices across the country to facilitate citizens during the holy month of Ramadan 2026.

According to the official notification, Regional Passport Offices, Executive Passport Offices, and Passport Processing Counters will operate under adjusted public service hours while maintaining regular administrative schedules.

From Monday to Thursday, token issuance and public service delivery will take place from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Meanwhile, overall office working hours will remain unchanged, running from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

On Fridays, public dealing and token issuance will be available from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, while offices will continue to function from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. A daily break for namaz (prayer) has been scheduled from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM.

The notification clarified that these Ramadan timings will not apply to selected high-capacity centers, including facilities operating under NADRA Mega Centers, which will continue to follow their own operational schedules.

Passport Fee Structure

The updated fee details for different passport categories are as follows:

36-Page Passport

  • Normal (5 years): Rs. 4,500
  • Normal (10 years): Rs. 6,700
  • Urgent (5 years): Rs. 7,500
  • Urgent (10 years): Rs. 11,200

72-Page Passport

  • Normal (5 years): Rs. 8,200
  • Normal (10 years): Rs. 12,400
  • Urgent (5 years): Rs. 13,500
  • Urgent (10 years): Rs. 20,200

100-Page Passport

  • Normal (5 years): Rs. 9,000
  • Normal (10 years): Rs. 13,500
  • Urgent (5 years): Rs. 18,000
  • Urgent (10 years): Rs. 27,000
