Karachi’s Peoples Bus Service has extended the route of its iconic double-decker bus, officials announced. The bus will now operate from Malir Halt to Tower, enhancing connectivity across the city.
The new route officially started operations today, providing commuters with a faster and more convenient travel option.
Provincial Transport Minister Sharjeel Memon had instructed authorities to finalize preparations for the extended bus routes. He also confirmed that the Sindh government aims to complete the Yellow Line BRT project soon.
The expansion reflects the government’s ongoing efforts to improve public transport and offer safe, efficient, and affordable commuting options for Karachi residents.
