The Punjab Communication and Works Department has completed 64 percent of the Rs. 14 billion Kutchery Chowk remodeling project and is preparing to begin construction on three underpasses on Peshawar Road at an estimated cost of Rs. 8 billion.
Punjab Highway Department Executive Engineer Qamar Ali Saqib said the structures of the flyovers and underpasses at Kutchery Chowk are complete, and teams have started earth filling and related work. Authorities have directed Iesco, PTCL, and SNGPL to shift their infrastructure into a dedicated utility corridor to avoid future disruptions.
He said the department aims to meet the April 30 deadline and confirmed that the Frontier Works Organisation is executing the project. Work has also begun on a pedestrian corridor and a new drainage system at Kutchery Chowk.
Iesco has started relocating 10 electricity pylons along Peshawar Road from Qasim Market to Chairing Cross, a step required before underpass construction can begin. Officials expect the relocation to finish by the end of February.
The department plans to launch work on the three underpasses in mid-March to minimize traffic congestion, as more than 200,000 vehicles are already using alternative routes. Authorities have also directed civic agencies to relocate trees instead of cutting them.

This cost of Construction OR Any Project is Not paid by any of the Politician this is we the Public who pays for it.

There is no use of these projects until the basic necessaries are not fulfilled & unless someone needs to Steal Bread due to Hunger
Develooment works generate economic activities, overall improve GDP and economy.
