CDA Warns Bahria Town Over Safari Villas Project In Islamabad

The Capital Development Authority has issued a notice to Bahria Town over its Safari Villas Housing Scheme in Islamabad, warning that the project may be rejected if regulatory requirements are not fulfilled.

The authority raised serious concerns over missing and incomplete documents submitted for approval of the layout plan covering 210 kanals. Key documents such as land ownership records, non encumbrance certificate, and mutation papers were either not provided or found incomplete.

CDA also noted that some submitted documents were not properly attested, while the overall layout plan failed to meet required planning standards under existing regulations.

The authority further observed that development work may have been carried out without prior approval of the layout and building plans, which is a violation of the CDA Ordinance 1960. It warned that such constructions could face action including demolition or alteration.

Bahria Town has been directed to submit all required documents, plans, and fees within seven days. Failure to comply will result in the application being rejected and treated as closed without approval.

The notice highlights stricter enforcement by CDA to ensure that all housing schemes comply with legal and planning requirements before development.
