Gold Prices Drop Massively in Pakistan Following Global Market Decline

Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Tuesday, in line with the losses in the international market.

In the local market, the price of gold per tola dropped to Rs. 514,762, down Rs. 9,000 during the day.

Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs. 441,325 after a decline of Rs. 7,716, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

On Monday, gold per tola had closed at Rs. 523,762, after a decrease of Rs. 3,200 during the day.

The international gold rate fell by $90 to $4,920 per ounce, with a premium of $20.

Meanwhile, silver prices also softened, declining by Rs. 150 to Rs. 8,014 per tola.
